A CERT provides the IFS certification in cooperation with the German Certification Body GISTAZERT.
This certification is necessary for companies supplying food and beverages in the supermarkets in Northern Europe.
The standard was created in 2002 by German commercial firms and organizations engaged in retailing in order to assess and review their suppliers. In 2003, it has been recognized and endorsed by French firms and retailers and the whole food industry.
