About phone calls Sergei Dankvert with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Hellenic Republic, Vladimir Chkhikvishvili

During the talks, stressed the need to organize a meeting of Rosselkhoznadzor and the General Directorate of Veterinary Greece to discuss the systematic violations of veterinary-sanitary requirements and norms of the Customs Union and Russia, identified during the inspection of Greek enterprises Rosselkhoznadzor specialists from 10 to 21 June 2013.

Earlier, on the basis of violations Rosselhoznadzor expressed their concerns that the Veterinary Service of Greece tolerated unreliable veterinary certification of products of animal origin intended for export to the territory of the Customs Union. Given that the majority of Greek companies have been included in the Register of companies from third countries on the basis of guarantees Veterinary Service of Greece, and in order to avoid large-scale introduction of restrictive measures on the supply of products from Greece to Russia, Rosselkhoznadzor to the Head of the General Directorate of Veterinary Eleni Protopape to suspend the veterinary certification products companies in Greece, Russia.

In this connection, Sergei Dankvert said Vladimir Chkhikvishvili that products shipped prior to the suspension of veterinary certification and is now located on the way to Russia, as well as products supplied in accordance with previous contracts will be allowed to be imported into the territory of the Russian Federation during the laboratory control from the Russian side.
